Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards for April 2020 Kit

I love the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit! So many cute elements to play with, and so many cute cards to make! Here are three more cards that I designed that I want to share with you!

Most of the supplies I used to make these cards were from the April 2020 kit called "No Matter the Weather". The greetings and images in this kit were so inspired for what is going on in the world today. I used the "Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder" on the Daffodil Delight piece of card stock behind the focal point image. I love how it brings out the daffodils that are inside the cute rain boots. And that little bunny die-cut is so cute.
On this card I used the little bunny stamp that comes in this kit. I love bunnies that have the markings that look like a Siamese kitty, so I thought I would try my hand at coloring the cute little bunny like that using my Stampin' Blends markers. I especially like how the scalloped stitched rectangle looks like you're looking through a window into a brighter day ahead. I think we are all looking forward to those days again, right?!

Now I must admit that I was highly inspired by Rachel Tessman's card of a similar design. I hope she doesn't mind that I used her design for this card. It was so beautiful, but simple. Thank you Rachel, for your inspiration! Also the greeting and the little "sprinkles" behind the pretty posies are from the stamp set "Perfectly Framed". And the Shaded Spruce Rhinestones are from the "Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels". (I sure do love those rhinestones. So glad that they will be carrying over into the new catalog in June!)

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my card designs. I hope you like them as much I enjoyed making them.

A Couple More Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards for February 2020 Kit!

I have just a couple more alternate cards for the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit (Lovely Day). I really like how these two turned out.

I added a Rococo Rose card base to this first one, plus I added a Stitched Nested Label die-cut in Petal Pink cardstock. I also added a messy, Rose Metallic Thread nest under the flower image. Everything else came from the kit. Oh, except for the greeting. It came from the "Happy Birthday to You" stamp set, which is part of the Sale-A-Bration offerings from this year. (You can get this stamp set for FREE, when you place an order for $50, plus tax and shipping. Contact me in the comments for further information!)

All supplies are from Stampin' Up!:
Paper Pumpkin Subscription Kit - February 2020 (Lovely Day)
Rococo Rose Inkpad (Item #150080)
Rococo rose Cardstock (Item #150882)
Petal Pink Cardstock (Item #146985)
Stitched Nested Labels Dies (Item #149638)
Metallic Thread, Rose (Item #146915)

This card is very similar to the way the card is designed for the kit. I just watercolored the cake image, and added some different sequins to it. (I was just trying to use up the rest of the images and foam words that came with the kit.) I really like the way these cards were designed, so it was hard to put them together in different ways. Such a great kit!

I hope to have some more posts for you this week. The branch where I work has been closed for the time being, but not all of the branches for the company that I work for. So... I am "on-call". If they need someone, they can call me and I will go in. Just waitin' for that call!

I hope everyone is doing well. Keeping safe, and keeping healthy! Continue self-isolating, and washing your hands often, and we will get through this together.

Stop back and visit me again soon, and I am sending you all virtual [[Hugs]]!

Thanks,
Kathryn

More Paper Pumpkin Alternates for the Dec. 2019 Kit

I know that the January Paper Pumpkin kit has started to arrived in peoples mailboxes, but I have a few more alternate cards for the December 2019 kit that use the "Something for Everything" stamp set. I absolutely love this kit! I think I made over 20 different cards. (You won't see all 20 of them, because I actually gave several of them away already!)

Anyway, here are my cards:

Almost everything I used was what was included in the kit, except for card bases, and some extra pieces of card stock, a few more rhinestones (I used every single one that came in the kit), some extra gold foil paper, a little bit of ribbon and linen twine, and some punched shapes and one embossing folder. Such a fun kit!

If you think you might enjoy receiving this amazing paper crafting subscription kit, you can use this link to sign up:

December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Alternates!

I love getting my Paper Pumpkin kit every month! Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription service from Stampin' Up! designed to give you and your friends a quick and fun paper crafting break. Some months it is cards, other months it is a craft kit that will let you create fun gift packaging or home decor-type items. Back in December the kit was full of items for making 12 fun, versatile cards. (See below! You get supplies to make 4 of each card, plus envelopes!)
All supplies are from the December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit:
"Something for Everything"

I made these cards as directed on the instructions in the kit. They are even more pretty in person! I know that they all say "happy birthday," but that is because I need to re-build my birthday card stash! LOL! The stamp set comes with 13 wonderful, versatile greetings, and a little flower stamp. 14 stamps all together!

Now the following cards are some of my alternate cards using mostly supplies in the kit, but I added a few other supplies from my own stash. This card I added a base card (in Grapefruit Grove), and a gold foil circle. Other than that, everything is from the kit.

My husband has a friend whose sister passed away, so he asked if I could make a sympathy card for him to give his friend. Since his friend is a man, I wanted to make it more on the masculine side. To this card I added the card base (Shaded Spruce), plus the two mat layers (Old Olive and Night of Navy). I also added the square layer that I cut with one of the Stitched Shapes dies, and then embossed it using the 3-D embossing folder called "Pinewood Planks". The button is from a retired collection, and is tied with some linen thread.

This last card I used only the card base (Old Olive) from my own stash, plus a little adhesive. The Paper Pumpkin kits are so easy to take with you when you will have time to do a little crafting. I created this card at work during my lunch hour! (And I still had time to eat my lunch!)

So I have established that Paper Pumpkin is an amazing subscription kit, and we all agree that you should all sign up for it ASAP. The next question is "How do I sign up for Paper Pumpkin, Kathryn?"
That one is easy! Just click on the link below:

If you get signed up by the 10th of the month, you will be guaranteed to received that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th or after, you will get the following month's kit.

Whether you want handmade favors for Valentine’s Day, a bridal shower, or a remarkably romantic wedding, this month’s kit has everything you need to help you celebrate your favorite friendships and love stories.
