#GDP032 : Theme: Case the Designer Card Challenge

Over at the Global Design Project blog, the new challenge is to create a project based on a card created by a member of the design team. The designer is Krista Frattin who is a member of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team. These people are amazingly talented, and they come up with really creative and cute projects, so it was fun to draw some inspiration from one of them.

All supplies are from Stampin' Up!:
Stamp set: Friendly Wishes
Cardstock colors: Old Olive, Pacific Point, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Chalk Talk Framelits, Circle Punches: 1-3/4" and 1", Gold Sequin Trim, Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack, Stampin' Write Markers: Old Olive and Pacific Point, Dimensionals

Here is the inspiration piece:

Krista's card is beautiful, and I was inspired by the placement of the greeting, and the floral embellishment. Also by the placing of the whole piece of DSP as the background.

Thank you Krista for your amazing work!

I hope you like my work, as well, and thank you for stopping by to look!

  1. The punched flower embellishment you have made is brilliant! The boldness of it calms the busy DSP background. A great CASE of Krista's original design. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week.
